I2E2: Institute for Innovation in Engineering Education Olin College

Workshops and Consultations

workshops

I2E2 runs targeted workshops and provides consultation services for institutions facing particular challenges (new schools; curricular reform; organizational change), including on-location facilitation and coaching. Current and prospective partners include US and international educational institutions as well as industry business units. Past programs have included Catalyzing and Sustaining Change in Engineering Education, held at Olin, and Engineering an Educational Renaissance for the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. I2E2 facilitated a NSF CPATH grant funded workshop for a group of fifteen computer science curriculum pioneers at Georgia Tech entitled Creating and Sustaining Change in Computer Science Education, designed to have educators share their experiences in semi-radical curriculum reform in order to understand how people who do that make it happen. Most recently, we conducted a workshop on Curricular Visioning for KMUTT and several workshops on Project Based Learning and Interdisciplinarity for various groups brought to us by LASPAU.
